Big news soon to come from Arlington, TX, the long awaited release of Tony Romo. This is good for Tony Romo and Dak Prescott. Tony is too good of a quarterback to be sitting behind a second year starter. The performance Dak put together last season was too good to lose the starting job to the perpetual .500, Tony Romo.
Tony will get to move onto bigger and better things by getting released into a dry quarterback market when the big names being Colin Kaepernick, Brian Hoyer and Mike Glennon. Tony clearly leads that class with a career 78-49 and a near 82 QBR, Cowboys fans will come to appreciate what Tony has done for them.
Dak finally gets the spotlight he deserves with this news. There will be no more camera panning to Romo when Dak makes a great play and the commentators talking about Tony, instead it will now be the great play that Dak made.
Great to see Tony will get his chance again. Too good of a player, when healthy, not to.
