A Great Red Sox Win on Marathon Monday

Great win today at Fenway Park on one of the most exciting games of the year with an 11:05 start, makes it feel like football having the game start so early, so much fun.

Weird start with Steven Wright with two runs in the first inning, then he finally settled in eventually picking up the win with 6+ inning, 9 hits and 3 runs.  Great start for a knuckleballer, especially compared to his first start.

The bats were out early picking up four runs in the first two inning with a big thanks to Benny Baseball who has been red hot.  Andrew Benintendi has 6 hits over the last two games bring is batting average from .238 to .320 which is outstanding seeing a young guy finally getting comfortable at the plate.

The bullpen is continuing to be dominant, Robbie Ross looking great, Heath Hembree was untouchable in a perfect inning and Craig Kimbrell perfect again with his third game in a row picking up his sixth save on the year.

The Red Sox improve to 8-5 (7-2 at home), onto the road trip.
