Wake. Up. Celtics.

IMG_7572Wow, I am absolutely shook. How happy were we a week ago when the Celtics clinched the one seed. We were absolutely ecstatic, now a week later, we sit here down 2-0 as we head out to Chicago.

So how did this happen? It’s quite simple, the Celtics for one cannot grab a rebound if their life depended on it. They are making Robin Lopez look like Kareem out there, we have been atrocious on the boards.

The other huge issue is the lack of intensity, this team doesn’t seem to realize thats it’s the playoffs now. The Bulls have come guns ablaze and the C’s have no answer, and if they don’t find one soon it will be a quick series.

So what can we do to fix these issues. Well for one, shake up the lineup, try something new. What we are doing clearly isn’t working and we need to attempt something else before it’s too late.

As for the revounding issue, unfortunately theres no way to fix that at this point, box out and be aggressive is the best we can do right now.

Isaiah Thomas is the only player showing up and he is also the only player who would have a reason why not to show up, that is unacceptable.

The Celtics have just become the first ever one seed to lose both of their first two home games in the first round of the playoffs, and unless they become the first one seed to come back from that, there will be a very insightful yet vulgar rant for you all to enjoy. Hopefully that day doesn’t come, in the meantime I am going to sit here angrily staring at my wall.
