Time to Kiss the Bruins Good Bye?

Don’t get me wrong, I would love nothing more than to see the big bad Bruins come back from down 3-1 to win the series in the first round. But after the Bruins lost a pivotal game 4 last night (failing to score just ONE GOAL) and fell back in the series 3-1, I think it is justified to say that the Bruins run may be over. Maybe they can win one or two more games in this series but damn, they can barely win one game so I can’t imagine coming back and winning three in a row! Maybe I’ll be wrong and I’ll be okay with that if I am.

In the second period it seemed that the Bruins would strike first and give themselves a one goal lead after Acciari netted one in BUT…. The goal was taken away after they had deemed that there was an offsides on the Bruins. That one goal being stolen away would prove to be the game changer as the Bruins went on to fall 1-0.

What bothers me the most is that these past two losses have come at home. If anything Bruins, You’re supposed to win in the Garden, not lose in front of the Bruins faithful. And then to add two overtime losses into the mix where in both cases the Bruins failed to finish, it’s frustrating man, just frustrating.

At this point, we should be glad that the Bruins made the playoffs after being absent from them for 3 years. Except in Boston there are no moral victories so we will all be pissed as hell if the Bruins lose this series to the shit Senators from Ottawa.

Looking ahead, game 5 will be on April 21st back in Ottawa. Hopefully being backed against a wall will spark the Bruins but honestly, don’t get your hopes up.
