After the Celtics started their playoff run down 0-2 in the first round to the Bulls, is it possible that they could be back on top? Well yeah, actually, it is. The Celtics came roaring back in what seems to be a typical theme in Boston sports and tied the series at 2-2 with a chance to take the series lead tonight in Beantown.
As if it couldn’t get any better for the Celtics, it was revealed that Rondo will not play in game 5 so the Bulls now have ZERO legitimate point guards on their team. But for the Celtics, they have a guy named Isaiah Thomas who you might of heard of before. After only scoring 16 points in game 3, he exploded for 33 points the next night helping the Celtics tie the series. Quite frankly coming into game 5 I expect nothing less from the best point guard in the league. So sorry Bulls, you have no chance.
Since the first two games, there has been a complete turnaround in this Celtics team. From essentially getting bullied on the boards in the first two, to being the aggressor and competing on the boards and the defensive side. Of course Bulls fans will be like, “well Jimmy Butler dropped 33 points so your defense still sucks so we can win this shit.” Honestly, let Jimmy G Butler, G stands for “garbage,” drop 30+ points I don’t give a shit because the bulls have absolutely no one else besides him that can consistently score.
In the end, coming into game 5 with the old Celtics team that we all knew and loved back, the Bulls stand no chance and I couldn’t be happier. Boston will be back on top.
