The defense of the Atlanta Falcons has long been the weak side of the ball. For the last 7 or so years the Falcons game plan was to let the offense do its thing and for the defense to try to get a stop or two. Under the Quinn era the defense has vastly improved, for instance when he arrived the team was last in the league in sacks. Just 2 years later the Atlanta Falcons have the NFL sack king in Vic Beasley who is just 24 years old. He is not the only young gun on that defense the list goes on and on. Grady Jarrett 24, Desmond Trufant 26, Ricardo Allen 25, Deion Jones 22, Keanu Neal 21. The only question I see from turning Atlanta into a football dynasty is whether or not they have the money to pay everyone. The window is open until 2019 and then financial issues will be in effect. So this sets up a championship winning window until 2019 and probably after that but not all guys will be there, you can’t pay everyone after all.
What to expect from the Dirty Bird Defense
