“The harder you fall, the heavier your heart; the heavier your heart, the stronger you climb; the stronger you climb, the higher your pedestal.”
Last night the Patriots ring ceremony was all over Twitter leaving all of us thinking this should be us. Instead of a big ceremony all over Twitter, I saw a few NFC Championship rings on players Instagram stories. This offseason was the most painful one for any team in NFL history. The type of sick people called Patriot fans are never going to let it go. It didn’t matter that we signed Dontari Poe, drafted Takk McKinley, and extended Desmond Trufant. Our offseason was defined by an in-season game. Try to bring up that we still have the youngest defense in the NFL, they act like we don’t. If you take a look back in recent years most sports teams who lose the championship come back stronger. North Carolina Men’s Basketball lost on a buzzer beater in the finals then won the finals the next year. The Cavs lost in 2015, won in 2016. Clemson lost to Alabama in the finals in 2016, won in 2017. So why not us, we didn’t lose any big players, are defense is growing and getting used to Dan Quinn’s system. This team is ready to compete and ready for some revenge to erase all of this years embarrassment.
