Late Heroics Boost Red Sox to Two Straight Wins

Pedey. Game over. Benny baseball. Game over.

There’s been a lot of excitement in Boston these past two days with walk off winners in both of the first two games against the Phillies.

In Monday’s game against the Phillies the Red Sox dug a quick whole being down 4-0 largely in part because of rick PorSHITo horrible first inning. But fear not, the Red Sox would come back. Boston erased their deficit thanks to a ding dong DINGAH from Benintendi and RBIs from Pedey And yet again Benintendi.

The Red Sox fell behind again but Hanley came through and tied that game with a bomb of his own in the 5th. The scoring would hault from there and the game would go to extras.

Then in the 11th, Pedey came up to the plate with two on. And we all know how this ended. The granddaddy of the Red Sox game through with a game winning single to score Marrero! Red Sox win 6-5!

I was upset though just because two of WTP’s finest, Joe skoczylas and Jonny Sander were there to witness and provided an EPIC chugs for dubs.

Then comes game two where the Red Sox were in reverse roles, this time getting up early 2-0 and then Price blew that lead and it was tied 2-2. Each team would score one more run so we headed to extras tied, 3-3.

Then as if the legend of Benny baseball couldn’t get any bigger with his lucious locks, 2nd to only me, step to the plate in the 12th with 2 on yet again. And then BOOM, Benny launched one down the line, missing a Ding Dong by only a few feet but nonetheless, a ground rule double to walk it off for the Red Sox.

This led to one of the best, most epic tshirt designs from none other than Joe Skocylas from WTP. So now the legend of Benny Bubble gum begins. Check out & Cop your shirt here in this link!

So in the first walkoff we had the granddaddy of the Red Sox provide the fireworks and the second came from the baby of the Red Sox. But, firework were provided and I was pumped!

Now, let’s hope the Red Sox can ride this excitement to rattle of a nice long win streak and take over first place from the Yankees. It needs to happen.
