Going gets worse for Price after altercation with Eckersley on team charter

A few weeks, two good starts and more millions out the window since David Price blew up on good friend Steve Buckley and Evan Drellich inside the Red sox clubhouse in the Bronx, David Price is back at again causing more problems with the media.

This time with Hall of Famer and NESN analyst, Dennis Eckersley. Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe wrote an article on the incident prior to Friday nights game in Toronto and reported that Eckersley failed to comment on the issue.

Price was coming off his best start of the year after going seven strong innings in last night’s 6-3 win over the Twins and help complete a series win. Eckersley is known to tell you how it is and isn’t afraid to let his opinions be known and has definitely had some comments on Price this past season.

The context to the story is unknown after Eckersley declined to comment and the Red Sox clubhouse was closed to the media before the game, however, when you hear David Price and media linked together, you have to think Price was the one who popped off first.
