Looks Like the Blue Jays are Stealing Signs Again

At the beginning of tonight’s game, Chris Sale did not look like himself. Namely, the dominant starter, one of the hardest to hit in the entire league, was giving up hits immediately.

Having a handle on Chris Sale is something no lineup can really say. The Red Sox assumed that the Blue Jays are stealing signs, and decided to switch theirs up.

And the proof they needed is in the pudding. Since Sale and Leon switched signs, Sale has been unhittable. He’s had 10 strikeouts so far, including 6 straight over the 4th and 5th innings. Currently, in the bottom of the 6th, his pitch count is still in the low 70s.

This wouldn’t be the first time the Blue Jays have been accused of stealing signs. Google it, and you’ll see articles from 2011, 2015, 2017.

I’ll update this story as it develops
