The Boston Bruins have started the season off the way many expected them to. The first line has been outstanding but as we expected, there has been little production from the others. David Krejci and Jake DeBrusk have been trying to get something going on the second line, but haven’t been consistent yet. This team needs some help at RW.
There have been a bunch of names swirling around that could possibly fit like Artimi Panarin, the crown jewel on the trade market. He’s just 27 years old and he is a pure sniper. He has soft hands, is a smart player, and would fit perfectly with a playmaker like Krejci. However, for someone like Panarin, the price tag will be steep. The Bruins will need to trade some of their young talent, such as Ryan Donato, JFK, Bjork, or even DeBrusk.
Perhaps one of the in-house guys can fill the spot eventually, but they need to start playing better now. Bjork, Heinen, Donato, or Nordstrom could all try and get this position, but if nobody comes to claim it, then I would expect Don Sweeney to ship some of them out for some real talent at RW.
