White Sox and Prospect Eloy Jimenez Agreed to a 6-year Extension BEFORE He Has Ever Taken A Major League At Bat

Breaking news coming out of White Sox camp. The Chicago White Sox and prospect Eloy Jimenez have agreed to a 6-year extension worth a reported $43 million, with two club options for the 2026 season and 2027 seasons.

Jimenez, 21, has skyrocketed up prospects ranking boards since signing with the White Sox back in 2013. He is currently ranked as the number 3 prospect in all of baseball, only behind Vlad Guerrero Jr and Fernando Tatis Jr.

Jimenez is coming off his best season in the minors, hitting .337 with a .961 OPS and 22 home runs in only 108 games.

It is important to note that Jimenez has never stepped into a major league batting box and will be making more 5 times the amount of money Aaron Judge is set to receive this upcoming year.

Congrats on Securing the bag, Eloy. Now go win the ROTY and make Chicago good, again.
