Some tragic news has hit the baseball world today as Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs was found dead this morning in Texas. Skaggs was drafted by the Angels in the first round of the 2012 MLB Draft. He made his debut in 2012 with the Diamondbacks, and would later return to the organization that drafted him. Skaggs was having a pretty good year, going 7-7 with a 4.29 ERA in 15 starts with the Angels this year. The Angels have canceled tonight’s game in Arlington against the Rangers in the wake of his passing. No further details about the cause of his death have been made public as of yet. Our condolences go out to those affected by the news.
