The 2019 NCAAF season has kicked off quite nicely for the Eagles of Boston College. BC started the season with a big win over Virginia Tech 35-28. They then followed that with a big 45-13 win over Richmond. Boston college is averaging 40 PPG offensively and allowing 20.5 against. A 20 point difference is a pretty big deal for BC. Is this the year BC finally brings back their dominance like they had with Matt Ryan and Luke Kuechly? I say it is very possible.
The Boston College offense is led by two very key returning players. Anthony Brown at quarterback and AJ Dillon running the ball. Dillon is a player that very easily could slide his name in the Heisman conversation and Anthony Brown and a very smart quarterback who adds a powerful arm and a quick set of feet to his arsenal. Boston College defensive back Mike Palmer leads the defense with 16 tackles and the entire defense has shown much promise. Allowing 20.5 points a game is not great, but with an offense averaging 40 a game, it leaves you room to improve and get better.
Boston College is showing signs that it might be time to pay a bit more attention to them as they get into ACC play.
