Bet The Over: NFL Week 11 Middle Urinal Must Bets

ANYWHO, welcome to Middle Urinal Must Bets, presented by the WTP Sports Book (go DM @WTP_SportsBook on Twitter to place your bets). Each week on Live from the Middle Urinal—an OK-at-best podcast you certainly should(n’t) listen to—myself and fellow degenerate sports bettors Dom, Rob, and Phil give you our…LOCKS OF THE WEEK. After going 4-0 (Matt) and 2-2 (Dom), now we’re committing to 16 weeks of pickin’ LOCKS for the boys. Make sure you listen each week—we give extra picks in the pod!

So far, we’re 14-16-2 on the year and 23-20-2 with bonus/guests included—not bad for guys who don’t know what they’re doing. Now, without further ado, here are our LOCKS OF THE WEEK for NFL Week 11.

Matt (5-5; overall, 9-5)
The Game: Chicago Bears at Los Angeles Rams; Sunday, 8:20pm
The Pick: CHI +6.5

Got a win last week, let’s make it two in a row here. The Rams stink. We all know that. They also don’t have much of a home crowd, either. The Bears, while not their most intimidating opponent, at least can present a challenge defensively, which is the only way to really throw off this Rams team. Goff hasn’t had it this year, and I’m betting that streak continues against a good defense. Just gotta hope the Bears can score at least one touchdown. They did well last week, so I’m hoping we get a little momentum going our way.

Dom (6-4; overall, 8-6)
The Game: New York Giants at New York Jets; Sunday, 1:00pm
The Pick: MIA +7

Buy the hook if you must. Dom called this Buffalo team a bunch of overrated jabronis this week (maybe with less colorful language) and he’s riding that thought with this pick as well. Miami, for some unknown reason, has decided to try and win football games. Meanwhile, the Bills have begun to do their best to lose them. We’re in Miami for this one, and that’s the great equalizer. Love a Miami back door cover here. Let’s go fins.

Rob (2-4-1; overall, 2-4-1)
The Game: Denver Broncos at Minnesota Vikings; Sunday, 1:00pm
The Pick: DEN + 10.5

Bit of a setback for Rob last week with the Rams proving they’re officially bad this year. But this is an adult pick. Publis is all over Minnesota, who’s proven its inability to cover double-digit and large spreads before. It’s just a lot of points, and for the value, its an easy pick. Something tells me it’s a slugfest. somehow, and looks a lot like that Redskins game that ended 19-9. Let’s go Broncos.

Phil (1-3-1; overall, 1-3-1)
The Game: New England Patriots at Philadelphia Eagles; Sunday, 4:25pm
The Pick: NE -3

This is one of those need a win picks for Phil. Sure, everyone is hesitant at first to jump on board because it’s only 3 points and the public is all over New England. But there’s a reason why. They hit against the spread like 60% of the time, and off a bye and a loss they’re as close to a guarantee as you can get in sports betting. This one should be a solid win for the Patriots, for Phil, and for you guys.

The Game: Houston Texans at Baltimore Ravens; Sunday, 1:00pm
The Pick: HOU +4

Baltimore is on a roll and it’s tough to tell someone to bet against them, but we’ve said it from the get-go on this podcast: If Deshaun Watson is getting points, take those points. This one is expected to be a shootout with two high-powered offenses and average defenses, but we’ll see. All we know is that it’s a lot of points to give for two teams that are probably more evenly matched than they seem.

Every Sunday morning, I’ll be bringing you these picks, so make sure you place all your bets with the WTP Sports Book by DMing us at @WTP_SportsBook on Twitter. Go make some money, folks. And listen to the show on Wednesdays (and Sundays!) anywhere you can find podcasts!
