Anton Khudobin has the hot hand and hasn’t lost in regulation this year while Tuukka Rask can’t seem to get his skates under him.
Is there anyone on this Bruins team who isn’t injured?
Boston will face Chicago on January 1, 2019
There are going to be times this season where the Bruins look like they can’t win a single game, then there will be other moments when it looks like the B’s are going to be perennial Champs. One thing that will remain is the directness and leadership of Bruce Cassidy.
It could be because Brady broke a mirror or walked under a ladder. It could be a coincidence — injuries are an enormous part of sports. Personally, I don’t believe in coincidences.
There comes a point in time when a sports franchise needs to do what’s right. In 2006, it was time for the Green Bay Packers to move on from Brett Favre. In 2004, it was time for the Red Sox to break the curse. In 2017, it should’ve been god-damn time for Bergeron to be named the captain of the Boston Bruins.
NHL hockey is back and for me personally, it is one of the greatest times of the year.
