Drew Brees: Your All Time Passing Yards Leader

9484 attempts, 6370 completions, 253 games started, and 17 years is all it took for Drew Brees to become your all-time NFL passing yards leader.

Brees is one of the best to play the game of football and will go down as one of the scariest and smartest quarterbacks ever. He is a true icon of the game, from his leadership and respect he receives from his fellow athletes to his class that he brings to the game, and everything in between.

Drew Brees started in San Diego and will end in New Orleans. 2006, his first year with the Saints, was the first time he threw for over 4000 yards, a milestone that he has achieved in every year since. Since 2006, Brees has averaged 5,281 passing yards a season, which is unheard of. He is also just one touchdown away from his 500th overall, a milestone that one Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Brett Favre have reached. So far this season, Brees has thrown for 1658 yards, 11 TDs, and zero interceptions. He is on pace to yet again break 4,000 yards and has the Saints sitting in first place.

Big congratulations to one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game, you are an NFL icon, Mr. Brees, and a true role model to any young child wanting to be a star.
