Monday came with some news out of Indianapolis. Not only did they sign Brian Hoyer to a 3-year, $12-million contract, but they signed Jacoby Brissett as well. To a rather big contract might I say. Jacoby was signed to a 2-year, $30-million contract with $20-million guaranteed! No disrespect to Jacoby at all, I just feel as though they could have signed him for much cheaper and maybe even thrown money toward somebody else.
The Colts definitely wanted to make sure Jacoby was informed in more ways than one that he was the starter. The Colts have now put all their chips in for this 2019 season and as a fan of the game I can only hope for the best for them.
