The season is young, but Boston is looking like a team that will be competing with the best of them in the Eastern Conference. This is going to be fun.
After three games, the Boston Celtics are 2-1, the same record to start last season as well. This year is a little different; I feel much more confident in this 2-1 team compared to last year.
This is a good placement for the Celtics: not too high and not too low. High enough where they're not underdogs, but low enough to not be considered favorites.
With roughly $34M in cap space, the Celtics can make a few big moves this offseason. Whether it's giving most of that money to one player, splitting it up, or waiting until next offseason, the Celtics have options. Here I'll talk about one player who I think the Celtics can go after: Malcolm Brogdon.
The Celtics are going to have to play the best basketball they've played all year for three straight games. Improbable? Yes, but not impossible.
